Charlie Jacobs

During my time at Brooksbank Sixth Form, I was fortunate enough to be appointed as Head Boy. My passion for 3D Art & Design made it my favourite subject. However, when the pandemic hit, I decided to find a job which stimulated my design interests.

I now work in the Sales Department at Andy Thornton Ltd where I am able to fulfil my interests, which include working with interior designers and clients to supply furniture to the hospitality industry and other trade environments.

“Jumping straight into the world of work from sixth form can be daunting, but it can quickly open up lots of opportunities.

“When joining a company, tell them your passion for development and get them to support you to develop yourself. They may be able to support your study for a degree or other professional qualifications.”
