Isobel Warwick
Reading has always been a passion that began in my school years. I was drawn to the English Department when I started my first year at Brooksbank. I spent much of my time in the LRC, which led to a job there during my sixth form days.
My enjoyment of English was enhanced enormously by excellent teachers and fantastic opportunities. We saw numerous productions on-screen and live at the Globe Theatre, London.
Isobel’s message is
“stick to what you love to do”
“Always stick to what you absolutely love to do. I chose my A Level subjects because I knew I'd love to study them. Some things can stay as a hobby; keeping art as a hobby didn’t stop me from being Arts Chair and Illustrations Editor for the Durham student newspaper.”
“All things happen for a reason! I was disheartened when I was rejected from Oxford, but coming to Durham was always what I wanted, as my half decade testifies. Always follow your heart.”
