Freya Wheelwright

At Brooksbank Sixth Form, I realised I loved History because I had the chance to study different cultures and societies and piece together why the world is the way it is now. With this in mind, I chose to study History.

I now teach History at a secondary school in Leeds. It is incredibly rewarding to share my passion for the subject with young people and help them develop their critical thinking skills. It's important to me to ensure that my students learn about the past and how it shapes our present and future.
