Introducing Dave Hewitt: Brooksbank’s New Executive Headteacher

We are delighted to announce that Dave Hewitt will be returning to the Brooksbank School in a new capacity as Executive Headteacher. Many of you may already be familiar with Mr Hewitt, as he served as Acting Headteacher last year when he played a pivotal role in turning around the school and kickstarting rapid improvements. His dedication and leadership have been instrumental in creating a positive learning environment for our students and inspiring our staff with optimism and renewed purpose. 

As Executive Headteacher, he will work closely with our fantastic Head of School, Darren Atkinson, and David Lord, the CEO of the Together Learning Trust. Together, they form a formidable team committed to nurturing the growth and success of our whole school community. Dave's primary focus will be on leading Brooksbank to greater success while fostering collaboration and improvements across the trust's high schools.

Under Dave's guidance, we are confident that Brooksbank will flourish and reach new heights of academic success, innovation, and student well-being. His wealth of experience in senior leadership, passion for education, and collaborative, down-to-earth approach make him the ideal leader to guide us towards a future filled with possibilities.
